Release of European bison, Bison bonasus, in the Tarcu mountains nature reserve, Natura 2000 area, Southern Carpathians, Romania. The release was actioned by Rewilding Europe in May 2014. A day later, all in one harmonious herd, slowly grazing the fresh grass here.
